WATER/SEWER EMERGENCY
Utility bills are sent out monthly. Utility bills are due on the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a Friday or weekend, payments will be due the next business day before 5:00 pm. A 10% penalty per month is assessed on all unpaid accounts.
Meters are read monthly, so each bill is an actual read.
It is highly encouraged to install an irrigation meter if you are watering lawns, landscaping, or filling your pool. See water billing rate for more information.
You must have a final meter read done before you can close/finalize your account.
Delinquent bills will become an assessment in the month of September on your winter property tax bill. Anything that was billed prior to July 1st that remains unpaid will transfer to the winter tax bill. REMINDER: this does not zero out your bill out.

All water customers have meters to measure actual water used. For rate breakdown see rate sheet for details.
This monthly service charge covers maintainance and replacement of meters. Readiness-to-Serve Charge is based on the largest size meter at the service connection.
$3.33 – 1 inch or smaller meter
$6.66 – 1.5 inch meter
$13.33 – 2 inch meter
$20.00 – 3 inch meter
$26.66 – 4 inch meter
$33.33 – 6 inch meter
Please contact our Zoning Administrator for pricing/process to purchase the meter horn. The irrigation meter exclusively measures water used for outdoor watering and irrigation. For rate breakdown see rate sheet for details. Since the water does not enter the sanitary sewer system, you will be billed for water usage only. Please refer to this brochure
Before you have a plumber snake your sewer line please have them call MHOG at the sewer emergency phone number.
If you have a meter, you will be billed $9.00 per unit (1 unit is 1,000 gallons).
If your usage is 2 units or under in a month you will be charged a minimum of $25.69 per month for sewer usage.
Each additional unit is billed $9.00 each.
If you are connected to our sewer system but do not have a water meter, you will be billed a $36.00 per month flat rate.
