The 2024 Road Millage for Howell Township is .9019. The estimated funds the township will generate by this millage is $450,000.
Every 5 years the Howell Township Board meets with the Livingston County Road Commission Engineering Department to create a 5-year Road Asset Management Plan for the Township. This plan includes bridge projects. Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating (PASER) Standards are used to help create this plan. For more information on PASER Rating Standards, see the Data Collection Training Manual. Road maintenance projects are recommended by the Livingston County Road Commission and the Howell Township Board decides which projects to complete.
