The Township Parks & Recreation is responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining township parks, recreational facilities, and open spaces. They work to ensure public spaces are safe, accessible, and responsive to the recreational needs of the community.

RFP – Tooley Road Park

Howell Township is accepting sealed bids to create a site plan for the Tooley Road Park and construction drawings for the Community Center, see attached RFP and park plan or visit www.howelltownshipmi.org/parks. All sealed proposals must be returned to Howell Township to the attention of the Township Treasurer, no later than August 31, 2026 by noon. Any proposal received after this time may not be considered. The Township Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities or errors in the bidding process, and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Township. Proposals will be opened at a meeting open to the public at the Howell Township Hall located at 3525 Byron Road on August 31 at noon. The Township Board will consider the proposals at the October 13th Board meeting.
