Dog Licensing

About Dog Licenses

Dog licenses can be purchased at the Township Hall through the Treasury Department during normal business hours (Monday – Thursday 8 – 5), online at the Livingston County Treasurer’s Office or at Livingston County Animal Control.

To obtain a dog license, you will need to provide proof of current rabies vaccination (if purchasing a 3-year license, vaccination must be valid for the entire 3-year period) and proof of spaying/neutering at the time of purchase.  By State statute, this information must be provided every time you renew your dog license.  Michigan State Law requires that all dogs over four months old must be licensed.

License Expirations

Dog licenses now expire when the rabies vaccination expires.
